From what we’ve seen so far, Luka Doncic seems to be a die-hard Jordans fan. He’s even set to release his own line of shoes with the billion-dollar company this summer. This news was announced in 2019 by ‘His Airness’ himself.

Let’s take a look at some of the hottest pairs of game sneakers the Mavericks star has worn so far.

Luka Doncic Signature first Signature Shoe – Jordan Luka 1

The first signature shoe for Luka Doncic comes at a perfect time. The Doncic Luka 1 is his first signature shoe and coincidentally drops as Luka makes a playoff run. The beautiful Jordan 1 features his signature logo on the top and the Jordan Airman on the sides. Luka signed an overall deal with Nike back in 2019. However, this signature shoe is the first that he can call his own.

Luka Doncic Nike Air Jordan 36 SE Luka Global Game/ Slovenia Shoes

Nike came up with a beautiful blue, green, and white colorway for this special edition of the Air Jordan 36. This fresh colorway pairs nicely with the Dallas Mavericks kit.

In some countries, this shoe is known as the ‘Global Game’, and in others, it is marketed as the ‘Slovenia’, a tribute to Luka’s home country.

Luka Doncic Nike Air Jordan React Elevation Shoes

These shoes were released in 2020 and comes in several different colorways.

We’ve seen ‘El Matador’ wear quite a few versions of these since they came out, including a custom ice-blue pair with the word “love” printed on the back.

We also spotted him in a neon green/white/blue pair with his logo stitched onto the sides.

Luka Doncic Air Jordan 35

We saw Cool Hand Luka, (or should we call him ‘Cool Foot Luka’) debut this pair in 2021 in the NBA bubble. Did you know that the first Air Jordan 35 was released in 2020?

This shoe’s lightness, well-cushioned Zoom Air sole units, and comfortable, the snug-fitting upper have made it popular among ballers in both the NBA and WNBA.

Luka Doncic Air Jordan 35 Cosmic Deception Shoes

The Wonder Boy got his own signature pair of Jordan 35 sneakers, the Cosmic Deception, in mid-2021. These otherworldly shoes are a low version of the original 35s that were released the previous year.

The shoe also features Doncic’s logo on the left tongue, neon pink pull tabs and stitching at the back, and a cosmic graphic on the shoe’s upper. This is accented with light green on the soles and uppers of the shoes.

Luka Doncic Jordan Zoom Separate PF

These high-performance shoes were named after Luka’s signature step-back move that he uses to create separation between himself and the player guarding him.

The soles of these kicks are made up of Nike’s ‘Zoom Air’ units and a dual-density foam outer sole, for extra comfort and supportive cushioning. The lacing system at the instep is also a pretty cool feature.

This pair of sneakers features a Nike Zoom sole which gives great cushioning and support and a sturdy but comfortable upper that keeps the ankle and instep stable in the shoe.

The hollow part of the sole is supported by a solid strip of plastic which allows ballers like Luka to break other players’ ankles and not his own.

We can’t wait to see more of what Nike and Air Jordan have in store for Cool Hand/Foot Luka later this year.

Herro is a Nike athlete, so you can expect to see him wearing the latest kicks from this brand. Let’s take a look at the shoes he’s worn during the 2021-2022 season and in previous seasons.

We’ve seen the ‘Bucket’ wearing this pair of shoes a lot this season. The Air Zoom G.T (greater than) Cut seems to be a favorite among NBA players as athletes like Jrue Holiday, Tyrese Maxey and Reggie Bullock have all been spotted in these.

That’s not surprising though, as the Air Zoom and React soles provide great cushioning and bounce to the wearer. Plus, the heel and upper are designed to give a stable, secure fit.

Tyler Herro Shoes – Nike PG 5

The Nike PG 5 shoes are one of the most popular pairs among players in the NBA. This edition is the fifth in Paul George’s line of signature kicks with Nike.

We’ve seen Herro play in these quite a lot this season, since the shoes were released in early 2021.

This fantastic pair of basketball shoes feature a responsive Nike Air sole for great cushioning and bounce, a secure lacing system for full foot lockdown, and a comfortable upper.

Tyler Herro Kobe Kobe 5 Protro Chaos

There’s no debate that Kobe Bryant was one of the best basketball players of all time, and Nike still honors his legacy with shoes like this one, which was released in 2020.

The design was inspired by Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight. Remember when he said, “I’m and agent of chaos”?

The green, red, purple, white, and black colors on the shoe would match the Joker’s outfits pretty well, don’t you think?

Tyler Herro ‘Tennis Ball’ Shoes – Nike PG1

The PG1, Paul George’s first signature shoe with Nike, came out in 2017. We saw Tyler Herro rocking different colorways of these shoes during the 2020-2021 season.

This particular one is nicknamed the “Tennis Ball” because of its volt color, and the suede fabric covering the middle and back of the upper.

Herro paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter following their tragic death in 2020.

Tyler Herro Nike KD 3 ‘Christmas’ Shoes

If you’re wondering what the “KD” stands for, it’s ‘Kevin Durant’, the player that this line of basketball shoes is named after.

Although these kicks were released in 2010, The Bucket wore them during his rookie season in 2019, and even got a shout out from Durant himself for looking good wearing them.

Kobe 6 Protro EYBL Shoes

This edition of the Kobe Protro basketball shoes was inspired by Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League.

The shoe’s upper features a snake print pattern in a purple and white gradient, and Kobe’s logo on the tongues.

The EYBL logo is printed on the back of the shoes. These comfortable kicks also feature a Zoom insole for great cushioning and a supportive heel counter for added stability.

Tyler Herro has been putting his best foot forward so far, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll be wearing next season.

If you’re not familiar with Anthony Edwards by now, this promising young shooting guard plays on the Minnesota Timberwolves and continues to deliver great performances game after game.

He is also an Adidas athlete, so let’s take a look at the sneakers he’s worn in the 2021-2022 season and in previous years.

Anthony Edwards Adidas Crazy BYW x 2.0 Shoe

We’ve seen the Ant-Man in several different colorways of this basketball shoe from Adidas. By the way, the ‘BYW’ stands for ‘Boost You Wear’.

The shoe is a much less bulky version of its predecessor and features Adidas’ Boost foam in the soles for great cushioning. The sturdy uppers are made of mesh, for breathability and comfort.

Anthony Edwards Adidas Exhibit A Shoe

At first glance, these kicks don’t look like basketball shoes, but they are! The soles look like they’re made from Boost foam, but they’re actually made from Adidas’ newest cushioning technology called ‘Lightstrike’.

The stability clip at the back of the shoe locks the heel and ankle in to give the wearer a secure but comfortable fit.

Anthony Edwards Adidas Dame 7 Shoe

These cool kicks are part of Adidas’ Damian Lillard collection. One of the signature features of Dames is ‘D.O.L.L.A.’ printed usually on the back of the shoe. We’ve seen Edwards wear a few different colorways of this shoe, including the lit ‘Day of the Dead’ edition shown below.

These special edition Dame 7 shoes were inspired by, you guessed it: the Day of the Dead holiday, or as it is called in Mexico, ‘Día de Muertos’.

We saw the Ant-Man wearing these bad boys in 2021, when he sent Yuta Watanabe of the Raptors to the floor with a deathly dunk. Damian Lillard saw Edwards’ impressive moves and tweeted “Must be the shoes”.

Adidas Harden Vol. 5 Futurenatural Shoe

These shoes look like Spring, or Bikini Bottom if you’ve watched SpongeBob SquarePants enough times.

The Harden Vol. 5 shoes come in a variety of fun, colorful patterns and combine Adidas’ Boost and Lightstrike foams for a ‘futurenatural’ playing experience.

These sneakers also have a seamless design that gives the wearer’s feet a locked-down fit and great stability.

Anthony Edwards Adidas Dame 6 Shoe

This is the predecessor of the Dame 7 and also features Adidas’ Lightstrike technology in the soles. It also has a mesh upper, protective heel area, and several eye-catching colorways.

This was the shoe that Anthony Edwards played in when he debuted in the NBA.
