it’s a pretty serious allegation, just like say treason or abuse of power from a standing US president. But we all know those things never work out because just like the constitution the NFL is dead inside, or is it? I don’t know, I am but a simple man sitting before my computer screen writing a stupid article.

I’m still a fan of both the NFL and constitution so what we are talking about here? The fan made video claims that the NFL scripted each game to have Patrick Mahomes as the newest freshest face of the NFL in order to get more fans and keep the NFL young and relative. Are these claims false? Maybe, I don’t know but he lays out a compelling argument. See for yourself.

Leading up to the Super Bowl, Chief wide receiver Sammy Watkins told the organization that he may need to take a pay cut for up to a year following the Super Bowl in order to regain his mental health.

After the Super Bowl win Watkins took a step back and said maybe taking off an entire year wouldn’t be the best idea. Watkins knows that he is too young to retire and he noted that he still has personal goals that he wants to achieve, with the Chiefs or another team.

When asked if he was worried about contract extensions or the money Watkins said, “I’m not really focused on the money aspect of it. I’m really focused on my health, mental health and really checking in on and making sure I’m ok with my life, family, my wife, my kids. Once I figure that out, I think I’ll be fine.”

Word on the street is the Chiefs would like to work something out that keeps Watkins on. But the biggest outlying issue is how the money will flow.

In my opinion, Watkins is doing the right thing. Take care of yourself, and tour family. Jobs come and go and positions are always replaceable from both the employers side and the employees side.

Patrick Mahomes calls on his Mahomie Alex Smith for teaching him how to football in the NFL. After the Kansas City Chiefs comeback win Mahomes said even though Alex Smith wasn’t there he still played a big part in the Chiefs win. Mahomes explained that when he first started in the NFL as a backup rookie to Alex Smith, Smith taught him the ropes on and off the field. Chiefs head Coach Andy Reid said Alex Smith was an invaluable part of Mahomes experience in his rookie year, as a matter of fact one of the first calls Mahomes received after his victory was from Smith.

According to ESPN.com Mahomes said “He texted me right after the game, saying he enjoyed it just as much as we did,” Mahomes then said “He wasn’t there, but he was part of it — I think that’s the biggest thing. He built the culture that I came into. He was the guy that led the team to all these successful seasons and built that winning culture.”

The Bromance is strong in these two, so don’t ever let anybody tell you that two dudes can’t come together to win one of the most highly coveted metal footballs in sports.
