Sergio Ramos García is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a center-back for and captains both Real Madrid and the Spain national team. You know what they say, the road to wins is paved with good intentions.if that’s the case then the Falcons are this  years Super Bowl champs. Leading them to victory is former LA Rams Todd Gurley.

Todd Gurley tried to stop from scoring to run the clock out, but couldn't hold up.

Gurley showed us all last night how to score a game losing touchdown. With seconds left Gurley scored a TD, he tried to run the clock down but failed to do so by falling into the end zone leaving enough time (as we all know seconds can be an eternity in football) for the Lions to score and edge out the Falcons.

You had one job Gurley, and oddly you did it but somehow didn’t, whatever, I’m sure he went home and realized he still has more money than any of us.

Well two things, 1. The XFL apparently started today. 2. The D.C. Defenders won their game. This must have been a strange feeling for the city of D.C. as they don’t know what a win feels like, because, well do I have to say it? I think I do, it’s because the Redskins suck at football’ing.

This win may have fans confuses and start expecting their NFL team to start performing. Nah, who are we kidding, the truth is they placed these teams in cities that either have no football team or the foot ball team they do have is questionable.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Redskins players suited up outside the D.C. Defenders stadium asking for a chance to play. Because the alternative (playing for the Redskins) seems worse.

Let’s see how this works out for the XFL, this may also be my last post about the XFL because if I was a betting man, and I am. The XFL will go under just like the AAL, USFL, WFL and its predecessor the former XFL. Get tour tickets now folks, you will have stories to tell your grandkids for ages, not that they’ll actually care.

Patrick Mahomes calls on his Mahomie Alex Smith for teaching him how to football in the NFL. After the Kansas City Chiefs comeback win Mahomes said even though Alex Smith wasn’t there he still played a big part in the Chiefs win. Mahomes explained that when he first started in the NFL as a backup rookie to Alex Smith, Smith taught him the ropes on and off the field. Chiefs head Coach Andy Reid said Alex Smith was an invaluable part of Mahomes experience in his rookie year, as a matter of fact one of the first calls Mahomes received after his victory was from Smith.

According to ESPN.com Mahomes said “He texted me right after the game, saying he enjoyed it just as much as we did,” Mahomes then said “He wasn’t there, but he was part of it — I think that’s the biggest thing. He built the culture that I came into. He was the guy that led the team to all these successful seasons and built that winning culture.”

The Bromance is strong in these two, so don’t ever let anybody tell you that two dudes can’t come together to win one of the most highly coveted metal footballs in sports.

When life imitates art, Michigan is  Waterboy’in their upcoming season. Thus, open tryouts for the Michigan football team.

I guess Harbaugh has been locked away in a room prepping for next season. As a joke someone left a copy of “Rudy” in his room and Harbaugh took it as gospel. I’m assuming the dialogue and family scenes must of confused him, but like any good coach he sifted through the game tape and pulled out the highlight. Open tryouts!
